Ramps By Design employs a fully customizable modular system for designing and constructing our sturdy and durable Wheelchair Ramps and Long-Tread Steps.
Based on an on-site survey, our team will configure a structure that conforms to almost any terrain and accessibility needs with little or no permanent damage to the home or property.

This modular freedom also applies to Aluminum and Hybrid Aluminum/Wood Ramps. While an all wood structure allows for the most customization, we can incorporate custom built modules with standardized sections, made from aluminum and wood, to provide the best overall solution for your situation, while maintaining affordability.
MATERIALS
MODULAR DESIGN SYSTEM
Pine/Fir
(Interior Grade Only)

The most economical solution for structures that will be protected from the elements, such as in a garage.
Pressure Treated Pine
(Exterior Grade)

This material is the most common choice for economical structures that will be in contact with exposed ground and vulnerable to the elements. Our most recent supply has been treated Southern Yellow Pine which appears more golden than treated Fir.

Without further treatment this material will brown with age.
Redwood
(Exterior Grade)

A less economical solution for clients who prefer a more traditional, deck-like appearance on exterior structures that will be in contact with exposed ground and subject to weather.

Without treatment this material will grey with age.
Also available in composite decking material. Please ask us for more details.
